Mechanical Bunny
Project for ME 112 at Stanford University
Completed Winter of 2013 in collaboration with students Kenji Bowers, Scott Knutzen and Esther Vigil. The project goal was to design a mechanical bunny that mimicked the hopping motion of a rabbit while scaling an inclined wooden plank in under 30 seconds. Design was completed in Solidworks, and parts were primarily fabricated out of masonite and acrylic using laser cutting. The drive train includes a belt-drive with gears fabricated using 3d-printing
